Well the weather outside is frightful
But the bike is so delightful!
What the heck, I'll just pedal slow
Let it snow
Let it snow
Let it snow!
Wishing you a happy holiday and some good cycling weather from the rainy, windy, snowy Northern Ireland. Thank you, as always for reading Lovely Bicycle!
Thanks for a great website - I think of it as one of my best internet 'discoveries'. Have a great Christmas and very best wishes for the New Year.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Happy Holidays
DeleteMerry Christmas to you and a new year full of two-wheel adventure, lassy!
ReplyDeleteHumm, take care, road can be slippery.
ReplyDeleteI founded a special bike for snowy area : http://mombat.org/MOMBAT/Bikes/1983_Weigle_IceCycle.html
Prickly tyres are probably "pony resist"!
Thanks for another fun year of reading.....
ReplyDeleteThanks, have fun!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (or whatever you're having yourself) to all who frequent this place, and to the lady responsible for it for setting such impeccable standards of discourse. Velouria, may you find your dreams wherever they are. Ireland is as good a place as any.
ReplyDeleteIf this appears in time, may I give a plug to the Christmas Eve Service of Nine Lessons and Carols from St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, broadcast live at 4 pm on RTE Radio One. Also available on Sky TV and the RTE website. Hear the magnificent Willis organ, the tympani and trumpet fanfares, and the bells of Dublin. This Irish expat wouldn't miss it.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Stay warm....Let it snow.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you again for all you do. I do so look forward to your posts - they are always enjoyable, often delightful and occasionally true gems.
No snow here though - temps forecast for the high 70s all week :( You will be in my thoughts as I ride the sunny roads and trails of SoCal.
And Happy New Year to you and all your readers as well - I hope it will be a great one for all of us.
Doug

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas from Tucson, Velouria. 65 F and 30 mph winds today. A few snow photos are lovely.
ReplyDeleteMay the road rise up to meet you - in a kind and gentle sort of way an not in that sudden "I just skidded my bike on this snowy slick road and ....Frack! I am down" sort of way.
