Owls, Bears, Bicycles

In the Co-Habitant's words, our tree ended up looking "very organic," decorated with golden berries, wooden forest animals and round ornaments in shades of copper and gold. The bicycles seem to like it.

Happy holidays and enjoy your winter break!

  1. Love it! Can't wait to get home. I left a little present for you in the blue glass on the shelf by the old camera. :)

  3. Save the wooden forest animals; teach them The Method.

  4. kfg - They already know The Method. Though they prefer to think of themselves as Heideggerian wooden forest animals.

  6. nice to see trees decorated with things associated with nature, rather than the usual kitsch! and it's always nice to see things like bicycles in the background...

  8. Thanks all : )

Our present-giving/receiving is spread over the entire Chrismannukah period, and so far we did get some very nice things. I am trying very hard to keep quiet about 1 specific present I got; we'll see how long that lasts!

  9. The tree not only seems organic; it simply feels more human than the gaudy ones we so often see. And the bikes also make the scene more inviting.
I hope you have a great holiday!

  13. Very classy your tree . . . and hints about "specific" presents makes us all the more eager for you to spill the beans. Enjoy your holidays!

  14. Lovely tree! I like your wooden ornaments - so much nicer than plastic stuff. Hmm... 'specific present'... sounds like it's something two-wheeled or a present for one of the two-wheeled family members. How long can you hold off spilling the beans? :-) Happy holidays!!
