Aquamarine

We have been staying on Cape Cod since Saturday and will be here till the end of the month. The water is freezing, but the scenery is gorgeous and the bicycle trails are nearby.

Marianne was happy to discover that her aquamarine outfit matched the colourscheme of the landscape.

Come to think of it, so did mine! Yesterday we spotted seals frolicking on this beach, though I failed to capture them on camera.

  1. Beautiful! I love the color coordination, though now you'll have to carry it through to the end of the month :)

  2. ah cape cod in septemeber. Although it's a lot colder this year than past years. I'll be on MV early Oct and was hoping to swim but it does not look like it will happen. enjoy the warmer temps tomorrow!

  3. What any eye you have for colors...and how beautiful it is there. Isn't the seashore wonderful and restorative! The beach I go to has seals too and I love watching the babies play on the rocks near by.

  4. I've always found it much easier to catch seals on a floating dock; but that could just be me.

  5. My hat is off to the Co-Habitant. I presume he took the latest lovely photos which suit the blog theme perfectly?

  7. We were walking in the surf and suddenly a seal snout + whiskers surfaced 20 feet away, letting us observe him up close for a good minute. Then he patrolled the beach up and down, presumably fishing and dodging the sharks (same Cape Codean sharks that hit the national news a few weeks back).

  8. Yes - Sadly, seals near the beach mean Sharks! Ah, we picked a great time to be here.

Thank you, the Co-Habitant is indeed an excellent photographer - though he takes his "real" pictures with film cameras.
